KSPP Hosts IAEE-MENA Young Scholars Day as Part of 3rd IAEE-MENA Conference

KAPSARC School of Public Policy (KSPP) hosted the IAEE-MENA Young Scholars Day on December 7, 2024, as part of the 3rd IAEE-MENA Conference held in Riyadh. This dedicated event offered mentorship and networking opportunities to Ph.D. candidates, recent graduates, and young professionals in the energy sector, fostering the next generation of leaders and innovators.  

The program featured two engaging panel discussions led by renowned experts in energy research and policy. The first panel, How to Use Research to Boost One’s Career, explored strategies for leveraging research to influence policy, inform business decisions, and shape professional growth.   

The second panel, Dos and Don’ts of Getting Published, provided practical advice for navigating the academic publishing process.   

These sessions equipped participants with actionable knowledge, empowered them to advance their careers, and fostered meaningful connections. By offering a platform for mentorship and collaboration, the event laid the foundation for building a lifelong global professional network in the energy sector.
